We invite members of your Council to join the Fourth Degree. Sir Knights of the Fourth Degree, deem it an honor and privilege to carry our TRIAD EMBLEM, which features The Dove, The Cross, and The Globe. Our Honored Order cherishes as its Patron, Christopher Columbus. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spirit of patriotism by promoting responsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the Knights' respective countries through active membership in local Fourth Degree groups called assemblies. Fourth Degree members must retain their membership as Third Degree members in the local council to remain in good standing. The official dress for the Fourth Degree Exemplification is black tuxedo, black bow tie, plain white tuxedo shirt ( NO wing tip shirts), black shoes, and black cummerbund. Religious and members of the armed services may wear their clerical garb or dress uniform respectively. Members shall wear the official dress plus social baldric, lapel pin and jewel of office.Any Third Degree member in good standing, with at least one year membership in the order - (six months membership will be considered providing a waiver has been requested and approved by the Supreme Office), is eligible for membership in the Fourth Degree. You do not have to join the color corps to be a member of the Fourth Degree. As a Fourth Degree Knight you have the opportunity to become part of your assembly's color corps. As a color corps member, you will be recognized widely by the distinctive attire of tuxedo, feathered hat (chapeau) cape and sword. Color corps members regularly take part in civic events such as parades and wreath-laying ceremonies, and in ecclesial functions at Catholic churches. NEXT EXEMPLIFICATION: Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the Irvine Marriott. Submit Form 4 and $100 to El Camino Real Assembly by September 15th. This fee includes your dinner, badge, social baldric and 3 months dues. Mail to: Jim Heil, 10549 Angel Ave., Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Be sure your Form 4 has your membership number and is signed by your Council Financial Secretary. You must bring your Third Degree membership card to the Exemplification. We MUST have your forms and payment ON TIME as we are required to vote on your membership and send an Assembly check to the Master of the Southern California District. We must also order your social baldric and Fourth Degree membership card.
El Camino Real annual dues are $30. Fourth Degree Meetings are held the SECOND Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Cass Hall at 130 W. Main Street, Tustin, CA. Bring your Third and Fourth Degree membership card to every meeting and event.

COMPETITION - Everyone is invited – Hotel Parking Lot 11: 00 AM CANDIDATE REGISTRATION – All Candidates report for registration to the Faithful Comptroller of the Assembly that they are joining. A Candidate Identification Badge will be given to them, and they will be directed to the assembly area. Salon ABC at the hotel. 11:30 AM LADIES NO-HOST SOCIAL HOUR – will be held at the location for the Luncheon. Come and meet old friends and make new friends. 12:00 PM LADIES LUNCHEON – Price $26.00 per person. This Luncheon is for the Candidate’s wives, member’s wives and other lady guests. Tickets must be purchased through your assembly. Salon F G H. 12:00 NOON LINE-UP OF CANDIDATES – Ceremonies will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. Any Candidate who is late will NOT be admitted into the Chambers. 4:00 PM HOLY MASS – will be following the Exemplification in Salon A B C D E rooms same as the Exemplification Ceremonial was conducted. Wives and guests are invited. This Mass will fulfill our Sunday obligation. 5:00 PM ASSEMBLIES HOSPITALITY ROOMS – Candidates, wives, members and their guests will meet in their respective assembly hospitality rooms for a social reception for the new members of your assembly. 6:30 PM NO-HOST SOCIAL HOUR – Foyer of the Ballroom 7:30 PM BANQUET – Banquet Price: $38.00 per person. This will be the climax of the day. Tables will be assigned by number to each Assembly attending. Assignments will be made and each Assembly will be notified before the banquet. Assignments will be posted at the entrance to the ballroom and each assembly hospitality room. Long formals are the desired dress for the ladies, but cocktail dresses are acceptable. SUNDAY 8:00 AM DISTRICT MEETING – All Chair officers, comptrollers and Color Corp Commanders are requested to attend. There will be a light Continental Breakfast for those attending. The Location of the meeting room will be announced on Saturday. It will be an informal wrap meeting and it should be completed by 10:00 AM.
